The Challenge

Oxford BioDynamics (OBD), a multi-national diagnostics company, aimed to launch a novel diagnostic to improve diagnoses for critically-ill patients by speeding up the time between physician orders and test results. They needed a comprehensive digital system that could be implemented quickly and efficiently with minimal staff involvement.

The Solution

OBD partnered with BioIT Solutions to implement 1Platform4® Diagnostics, an end-to-end system that manages the entire commercial diagnostics lifecycle—from kits and physician orders to patient samples, data analysis, and diagnostic reports. BioIT’s team worked closely with OBD’s CLIA Lab during the product launch, ensuring a smooth rollout. Since the launch, the platform has successfully integrated two new tests and expanded to multiple testing labs.
